On Monday Lacravionne Wright brought her three-year-old son Jalexus Washington to a local hospital with a fatal gunshot wound to his head after an alleged confrontation on the road led to the gruesome shooting. 

According to the boy’s mother the incident occurred at an intersection of Whitehurst and Arbor Park drives, when a man in a dark-colored sedan began arguing with her, before opening fire. Cops say they have yet to locate a crime scene and have gotten conflicting reports about where and how the shooting happened.

They have yet to make any arrests, and their investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
