A Connecticut woman wanted for dozens of car break-ins has been accused of crashing into eight police cruisers and injuring seven officers during a wild chase on Sunday that ended with her smashing her white Hummer into a pole and being taken into custody.

Hannah Casperson, 25, was suspected of helping her boyfriend, 31-year-old Thomas Crawford, vandalize and ransack 41 parked vehicles in and around Waterbury last week. When cops with guns drawn tried to talk to Casperson in the area of Rutledge and East Main streets, the woman struck a cruiser and clipped a utility pole before driving off.

Casperson reportedly struck six more cruisers before losing control and wrapping her Hummer ultimately around a utility pole about 25 miles away in the area of Monroe Turnpike and Wheeler Road in Monroe, reported News 12.
