Lake Catholic Boys Lacrosse Player Racial Slurs And Swastika Tattoo

lake-catholic-boys-lacross
Lake Catholic boys lacrosse player with a swastika tattoo was allowed to play displaying the tattoo, then used racial slurs at the opposing team after losing.

Orange Superintendent Dr. Lynn Campbell confirmed the incident in a letter to parents and community members. An image of the Lake Catholic player tattoo is circulating on social media.

Dr. Lynn Campbell wrote; “Dear Orange Families,

It is with great sadness that I write to inform you of an incident that occurred last night on campus during the men’s lacrosse game against Mentor Lake Catholic High School. Our players reported seeing a swastika painted on the leg of a Lake Catholic player, and subsequently, alumni and parents reported that a visitor was using racist slurs toward our team.”

As racial tensions run high in America after the shooting in buffalo by 18-year-old Payton S. Gendron, many people still question why certain young adults in society continue to turn a blind eye when these types of ideologies run rampant.
