Flashy Bishop Lamor Whitehead is being sued by a former congregant who claims he fleeced her out of her life savings, court papers detail.

Pauline Anderson was promised Bishop Lamor Whitehead that he would use her cash to buy and renovate her a house, but never followed through. Anderson alleges she met Bishop Lamor Whitehead at Leaders of Tomorrow International Ministry in Canarsie, Brooklyn.

Pauline Anderson’s son suggested she ask Whitehead for help buying a home since she had a low credit score, the suit says.

Bishop Lamor Whitehead told Pauline Anderson, to take her retirement money and give it to him to invest in his company, Lamor Whitehead Inc, where he would then buy a home for her and take care of necessary renovations or repairs.

Anderson wrote Whitehead a check in November 2020, under the condition that he would give her $100 a month to get by until her new home was ready, the lawsuit claims. After only making one payment, Bishop Lamor Whitehead stop making payments and came up with many reasons not to pay Ms. Anderson back.

While he was avoiding fulfilling his promise to her, Anderson claims Whitehead accidently emailed her son a contract that listed his company, Lamor Whitehead Inc as the buyer of a $ 4.4 million house in Saddle River, N.J.

Bishop Lamor Whitehead claimed that the money that was given to him by Pauline Anderson was a donation and an investment into his political campaign, not money to help her purchase a home.

Bishop Lamor Whitehead told the Daily News that Anderson is lying.
