Fetty Wap pleads guilty to drug charges and could now receive a mandatory 5 years sentence.

Fetty Wap real name Willie Maxwell II, entered a gilty plea before Judge Steven I. Locke at the federal courthouse in Central Islip on Long Island. The charge carries a maximum sentence of 40 years in prison and a mandatory minimum of five years, Locke said at the hearing.

The New Jersey-born rap star appeared jovial in the courtroom, and before the judge took the bench, he repeatedly nodded, smiled at and exchanged words with a group of four people who came to support him.

Federal prosecutors say the rapper was involved in a scheme in which he and his cohort picked up cocaine in Suffolk County and moved it to his home state of New Jersey to distribute.
