Oklahoma woman slaps Little Caesars employee over lack of Crazy Bread

An Oklahoma woman slapped a Black employee at Little Caesars and called him the N-word after he told her the pizza shop was out of Crazy Bread.

Rachel Scheuerman, 71, was trying to purchase the signature Little Caesars item on March 30 in Enid when 17-year-old employee Chris Beard told her they had none, according to an arrest affidavit. She exited her vehicle and reached through the drive-thru window to slap the teenager twice across the face, police said. They cited security video that showed the incident.

Beard got a manager, who asked Scheuerman what she was doing. She replied, “I harassed him like I always do,” according to the affidavit. Scheuerman then left the store.

After going home, Beard spoke with police on the night of the incident. An officer interviewed Scheuerman the next day. She admitted to calling Beard the N-word, police said. Two weeks later, she was charged with malicious harassment based upon race, a misdemeanor.
